The long weekend is finally upon us, and there’s some brilliant news for Abu Dhabi.
As per an announcement by the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), malls in the UAE capital will remain open as late as 2am over the Eid Al Adha break!
Yep, you read that right. So once you’re done watching all the spectacular fireworks across the emirate, the party can continue well into the night with malls offering plenty of activation to keep you entertained.

The malls that will be extending their operating hours are Abu Dhabi Mall, Bawabat Al Sharq Mall, Dalma Mall, Deerfields Mall, Yas Mall, Al Mushrif Mall, Al Khalidiyah Mall, Galleria Mall, Al Wahda Mall, Marina Mall, Makani Mall Al Shamkha, and Makani Al-Ain Mall.
The aim of the initiative, said Khalid Al Mubarak of ADDED, was to enable families to spend more time together over Eid, enjoying the various entertainment and dining options in malls.
Of course, it’s also the perfect excuse to try on more clothes, shop till your arms and wallet hurt, and let the kids run free for the most epic holidays ever.
