Etihad Arena announce comedy gig postponement

Jo Koy Abu Dhabi

Another event in the region has been postponed and rescheduled for May 2024

Comedy fans in the region will be disappointed to learn that the upcoming show from Jo Koy scheduled for Etihad Arena this Saturday night has been postponed until 26 May 2024.

It follows a number of different events which have been cancelled in Abu Dhabi and Dubai recently including Sean Paul, KISS, Khalid and Amr Diab. All shows are due to be scheduled again in the near future.

In a comment posted on Instagram, Etihad Arena revealed: “Due to unforeseen changes in the tour schedule, Jo Koy’s show at the Etihad Arena initially set for this weekend has been postponed to Sunday, 26 May 2024.

“Existing tickets remain valid for the new date. If you require a refund, please contact your ticketing provider before Wednesday, 8 November.

“Jo Koy and the entire team are excited about the chance to perform for you on the new date, and we are confident it will be an event to remember. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.”

Comedy fans needn’t dwell too much as there is still an array of fantastic events taking place in the region in the coming weeks with Russell Howard and Michael McIntrye to name but two acts still bringing their comedy roadshows to the middle east.

The F1 concerts on Yas Island are still going ahead with a bumper line-up including DJ Tiesto, Canadian superstar Shania Twain and American rockers Foo Fighters all combining to form a weekend like no other.
