Government workers will have a nine-day break for Eid Al-Fitr.
Private sector workers can expect to enjoy at least three days of rest and relaxation this Eid Al-Fitr after authorities announced dates for the holiday.
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources revealed the dates for Eid Al-Fitr holidays will start on 29th of Ramadan and end 3rd of Shawwal.
Eid Al-Fitr will run from Saturday 30 April until Tuesday 3 or Wednesday 4 May, depending on when the crescent moon is sighted.

The news follows authorities’ announcement on public sector holidays for Eid Al-Fitr.
However, public sector workers holidays will run until Friday 6 May after the Government deciding to extend the break for the full week.
This means federal entities will have a nine-day break when with the combined Saturday-Sunday weekend.
