Paris France

New partnership has been established to entice tourists to Abu Dhabi

Want to take a trip to see the Eiffel Tower? Disneyland anyone? Well now you can and more frequently too as DCT has teamed up with the Franco-Dutch airline group Air France-KLM to expand daily routes to Paris.

The partnership has been forged to increase air connectivity between Abu Dhabi and Europe in a move which is set to boost tourism numbers for the foreseeable future.

Department of Culture and Tourism recently announced that over 18 million visitors landed in the capital last year and authorities now aims to position the city as a popular tourist destination and attract more than 24 million visitors by the end of 2023.

The new partnership signifies Abu Dhabi’s commitment to promote and protect the tourism sector and rubberstamp the capital’s status as a global destination.

From October 29, the French flag carrier will connect the two Capital cities by operating an Airbus A350-900. The flight will have 324 seats, including 34 in business, 24 in premium economy, and 266 in economy classes.

We say tres bien to all concerned!
