Italy and Japan added, still no UK

Comes into effect 1 September.

Italy and Japan are just some of the additional entries to the new Abu Dhabi green list that will be effective from 1 September (12.01am UAE time).

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi issued the list today (31 August) with 22 extra countries making the cut.

The list was updated to add Bhutan, Comoros, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Italy, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Luxembourg, Maldives, Monaco, Norway, Oman, Portugal, Qatar, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, taking the number of countries from where tourists can arrive at Abu Dhabi International Airport without the need to quarantine to 55.

Vaccinated and non-vaccinated people arriving at Abu Dhabi Airport from countries that are not on the Abu Dhabi Green List will still need to quarantine.
