The travel time will be 57 minutes from Abu Dhabi to Dubai, 70 minutes to Al Ruwais, and 105 minutes to Fujairah.

Currently travelling from Abu Dhabi to Dubai takes about 1.5 to 2 hours by road, so Etihad Rail is slashing the time by a good margin – not to mention the cost-effective and sustainable nature of travel. This development signals the start of a transformative era in travel and mobility throughout the nation.
Earlier this year, Etihad Rail marked a historic milestone with its first journey linking Abu Dhabi and Al Dhannah.
The journey times for more destinations will be revealed in due course, watch this space for more updates.
The Etihad Rail project, which aims to connect key cities across the UAE through a 1,200 km rail network, is focused on both freight and passenger services.
Freight trains are already operational, while further updates and milestones are expected as the project progresses toward its anticipated passenger service launch.
