One-of-a-kind neo-culture festival on Yas Island to feature Grammy-award winning artists
Hip-hop and electronic music heavyweights are poised to storm the stage with their electrifying beats at the region’s first-ever neo-culture festival happening on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
BRED Abu Dhabi presented by Hypebeast, a one-of-a-kind showcase of the influence and impact of urban culture on music, fashion, sports and art, kicks off on 26 April at THE BRED ARENA with a performance by Grammy-award winning DJ Jazzy Jeff, whose biggest hits include Summertime, Boom! Shake The Room and Just Cruisin.
Also performing at the festival’s opening party is Omar Souleyman, the electronic music icon who will be making his UAE debut at BRED. The Syrian singer is renowned for his festival-style act with popular hits like Wenu Wenu, Warni Warni and Ya Bnayya.
British-Lebanese electronic music producer and DJ Saliah will get the party started on opening night with her unique blends of acapella, UK bass, Arabic classics and a range of electronic genres.

There’s more to look forward to as some of the biggest names from Def Jam Recordings take centre stage on 27 April to celebrate 50 years of hip-hop.
Multi-platinum, Grammy-award-winning artist 2 Chainz will headline the Arena stage and turn up the heat with hits including It’s A Vibe, Champions and 4 AM.
Grammy-nominated American rap artist Dave East, whose chart-topping numbers include Handsome and Pablo & Blanco, will also take the stage along with American rapper Armani White, who will open the international line-up and hype up the crowd with major hits such as BILLIE EILISH., Baazigar and GNARLEY!.
Running from 26-30 April, BRED Abu Dhabi will also feature a curated retail experience showcasing designs by global streetwear brands, popular street-food concepts from across the region and immersive art displays.
