The island, which is said to be “raw and untouched”, is a mere 20 minutes from the Abu Dhabi mainland.

Island goers can, once the project is finished, expect a world class marina, state-of-the-art shopping facilities and, of course, fine dining opportunities, not to mention a rather swanky floating hotel.

It was reported that also being rolled out are eight different designs of villas of varying sizes.

We can’t wait to explore!
