4 February marks World Cancer Day and here in the capital you can mark this important day by taking part in the World Cancer Day Run Abu Dhabi.
In partnership with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the run aims to raise awareness.

Slip on your trainers and register for either the 1km, 3km, 5km or 10km races at Al Mirfa Mangrove on 4 February.
The World Cancer Day Run, which is open for all ages, starts at 4pm, but make sure you head to Al Mirfa Mangrove at least 30 minutes before the race begins.

Enjoy scenic views while you make your way to the finish line and once you’ve crossed it, you’ll be awarded a certificate of participation, a medal, opportunities to take some photos and some much-needed refreshments.
