The Snow Queen

The evil Snow Queen is weaving her magic over at Theatre by QE2 this winter. Needing the heart of an innocent maiden to rejuvenate her powers, she’ll stop at nothing to achieve her goal. A sparkling and snowy adventure begins when she tries to come between two young people in love.
This fun, family-friendly show features a talented UK cast in stunning costumes and impressive stagecraft. Myth, fantasy and legend combine to create a spellbinding story that will leave children and adults feeling the spirit of the holiday season.

Ice Skating at Global Village

Back, bigger and better for its 27th season, not only does Global Village offer rides, shows, shopping and delicious food, it now has a new eco-friendly outdoor Snowfest Ice Rink. Suitable for all those over 90 cm tall, visitors can enjoy gliding across the ice while being surrounded by beautiful festive lights and decorations. All equipment is provided: skates, socks, and even a seal balancing aid if you’re feeling a little wobbly.

Winter City, Expo

Who could forget the fun we had at Expo 2020? Now you can relive some of the excitement as the Expo City’s Mobility District has been transformed into a winter wonderland. Visitors big and small can enjoy chalet-style market stalls, pine trees, festive fairground, and even write and post letters to Santa Claus. Children can also visit Santa at his house, which has a cosy fireplace and toy workshop. Other highlights include an impressive 16-metretall Christmas tree, gingerbread decoration, an ice climbing wall, Carols by Candlelight and Toy Soldiers show. Brilliant fun for all the family; watch out for Expo 2020 Dubai’s famous robots sporting plush reindeer antlers!

The Little Prince

The Little Prince at the Theatre of Digital Art (TODA) is a truly immersive experience based on the well-known book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. A combination of modern technology and hologram live performances, the story follows a young prince who visits various planets in space and addresses themes of friendship, love, loneliness and loss. Grab a bean bag, sit and relax and be prepared to be entertained in this mesmerising 360° digital spectacle. Children can also delight in a Little Elf Workshop where they can create their own Little Prince-themed Christmas toys, complete with complimentary hot chocolate.
